2025 Gala for Literacy: One for the Books

We are excited for our 3rd Annual "Gala for Literacy: One for the Books!"  We hope you will join us as we return to the Hard Rock Casino for a fun-filled evening on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 at 5 p.m. This event is a celebration of the students, supporters and volunteers who work together to achieve the QCBB’s mission. The evening includes cocktails, dinner, raffles, silent auctions and recognizes those individuals and groups who help create a stronger, more literate community. Busam Subaru's “Share the Love” Event

We are incredibly grateful to have been the recipient of Busam Subaru's "Share the Love" Event for an 8th year! Over the past seven years, this special program has raised $190,000 for our literacy programs! Subaru donated $250 to the purchaser’s choice of charity for any new vehicle purchased or leased from Busam Subaru. Thank you to Busam Subaru for your generosity and for creating a stronger, more literate community!

M. Hopple Cityart Holiday Card Contest

Congratulations to Maureen Born, Queen City Book Bank volunteer and talented artist, for winning the M. Hopple & Co. Cityart Holiday Card Contest this year! We are incredibly grateful that Maureen selected QCBB as the beneficiary of the card sales. A percentage of the proceeds from card sales benefitted the QCBB.
